1.I think that the author did that to try to make it easier for the readers to understand the diference between the Polands, the Germand and the Jewish. That's why he made the Poles, pigs; the Germs, cats;and the Jewish, mice;I also believe that i has to do with the cats chasing the mice.
2.Maybe because i gives it a less serious mood to it since its such a serious topic.
3.The Germans were stamping the papers of the jewish people.
4.Artie was prisoner of depression because he looks very depressed and sad. he had humans in this comec because maybe he just wanted other people to know his comic book how he wrote it in the first place.
5.Art said murderer to his father because he burned his mother's diary and that's the only memory that he had of his mother.If i were artie i would really have like to read the diary of my mother especialy if my mom wanted me to read it.
